What we collect

When you use the Spylert competitor audit tool, we collect:

• The competitor URL you submit for analysis
• Your email address, if you choose to unlock the full report
• An optional product description, if you provide one
• A hashed version of your IP address for rate limiting (we do not store your raw IP)

What we do not collect

• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not store raw scraped content from competitor sites long-term — only AI-generated analysis

How we use your data

• Your email is used to send you a link to the full report
• Competitor URLs and reports are cached for up to 24 hours to improve performance
• Reports expire and are deleted after 30 days
• We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the product

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate this tool:

• Supabase — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis
• Firecrawl — web scraping for publicly available pages

Data retention

Audit reports are automatically deleted 30 days after creation. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing srini@cruns.com.
