What we collect

When you use the Spylert competitor audit tool, we collect:

• The competitor URL you submit for analysis
• Your email address, if you choose to unlock the full report
• An optional product description, if you provide one
• A hashed version of your IP address for rate limiting (we do not store your raw IP)

What we do not collect

• We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not store raw scraped content from competitor sites long-term — only AI-generated analysis

How we use your data

• Your email is used to send you a link to the full report
• We may email you about product improvements or when the full Spylert tool launches — you can opt out at any time
• Competitor URLs and reports are cached for up to 24 hours to improve performance
• We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the product

Analytics

We use two self-hosted analytics tools to understand how the product is used:

• Umami — cookieless, privacy-friendly page analytics. No personal data is collected.
• Matomo — self-hosted analytics that sets a first-party cookie to distinguish unique visits. No data is shared with third parties. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting.
